Join us for an immersive, 200-hour or 102-hour Bikram-style teacher training designed for aspiring instructors seeking to deepen their practice and teaching skills. This comprehensive program features Joya expert instructors guiding you through the intricacies of the JoyaHot90 series, which consists of twenty-six postures designed to restore health and vitality by circulating fresh, oxygenated blood throughout your body.
Key Features:
- Hands-On Experience: Students will begin co-teaching after the first class, ensuring practical application and confidence-building from the outset.
- In-Depth Training: A total of 50 hours of practice and co-teaching which will ensure you feel prepared to lead classes in this dynamic format.
- Full In-Person Training: Engage in a full in-person curriculum focusing on dialogue and pose mastery.
- Effective Teaching Techniques: Develop the rigorous dialogue through accountability and learn proven methods to enhance your teaching effectiveness.
- JoyaHot90 Basics: Classes are conducted in a heated room at temperatures reaching 105 degrees, promoting flexibility and detoxification. Expect to emerge from this training with improved weight, muscle tone, and an enhanced sense of well-being—just as Nature intended.
- Foundational Knowledge: The first few weekends will delve into the history of yoga, asanas, restorative yoga, anatomy basics, and yin yoga, providing a well-rounded foundation for your teaching practice.

Alison, Joya Yoga Team Lead, E-RYT-500, YACEP
Alison loves everything about yoga! She's passionate about teaching yoga so that everyone can find the physical benefits, mental balance, and self-compassion they need to live a healthy life. Alison has over 10 years of experience teaching yoga around the world and is certified in a multitude of yoga disciplines: vinyasa, yin, aerial, SUP, sound healing and The Roll Model.
When not at the studio, Alison is in the Kindergarten classroom or supporting elementary teachers. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being outdoors.
Wendy, Joya Bikram Instructor
Wendy has been teaching Bikram Yoga since 2021, following a deep personal connection to the practice that began 16 years ago. Her journey into yoga was sparked by the transformative benefits she experienced in her own life, including improved energy, clarity, sleep, and overall well-being. This inspired her to share the practice with others and become a teacher, where she now finds joy in witnessing her students’ progress and the positive changes they experience in both their minds and bodies.
Wendy is passionate about helping others achieve their health and wellness goals, and teaching has become a powerful way for her to connect with others and foster positive transformation.In addition to her love for Bikram Yoga, Wendy enjoys various fitness modalities, including cycling and jFit, and believes in the importance of maintaining a well-rounded approach to fitness.
Outside of teaching, her greatest passion is scuba diving, a hobby she has cherished for over 20 years with her father, exploring the underwater world and creating lasting memories. Wendy also enjoys crafting, bike riding, and continuing her own Bikram practice.
Estevan, Joya Bikram Instructor
Estevan has been practicing Bikram hot yoga for many years. His passion for teaching stems from the visible improvements in his students' well-being, especially seeing their smiles and knowing they leave feeling better than when they arrived. The dedication and commitment students show by returning to class the next day fuels his own motivation, deepening his love for teaching and creating a positive, energetic atmosphere in every session.Outside of teaching, Estevan is a cardio enthusiast with a love for running long distances. Bikram hot yoga is his favorite workout because it combines stretching, cardio, discipline, and the benefits of heated practice—all of which contribute to a healthier lifestyle.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, jogging, random dancing, indulging in good food, and singing in the shower or while driving in her car. These activities, along with her teaching, help her maintain a balanced and joyful life.
