Lead by Vanessa, Joya's Pilates and Strength Lead, along with multiple guest speakers throughout the 2 days to give students multiple perspectives on this workout format.
Vanessa is a fitness enthusiast who loves to see her students challenge themselves and grow. The best part of teaching for her is when she sees her students physically change and push themselves harder in class. One day they can only do one set and the next time they manage to push through a second set. Vanessa likes pushing people to their highest points and helping them break through mental and physical barriers. Knowing she had a hand in their personal success is an indescribable feeling.
Aside from teaching, Vanessa enjoys participating in HIIT, Cycle, Barre, Pilates and running. Vanessa is a former Division 1 and semi pro athlete. Her hobbies include playing soccer, watching her kids play football and soccer, and reading. Her favorite color is anything shade of blue💙 (and you can throw in yellow too).
