About The Instructors

Audrey Allen

ERYT- 200, RYT-500 has practiced and studied yoga since 1996. Her training and practice are rooted in the Ashtanga tradition of yoga and her teaching style is a culmination of the many styles that she has studied over the years. She has taught yoga in the San Ramon area since 2003, yoga teacher training since 2008, and is co-owner of The Yoga Company. Audrey sees the practice of yoga as a way to connect with, learn about and honor the self, with the result being a more balanced state of mind and body. She is grateful to, and inspired by the many teachers she has had over the years and continues to integrate their wisdom into her teaching.

Deanna Hasni

Deanna first turned to Yoga to heal from two personal tragedies: the loss of her youngest brother to illness, followed closely by a significant loss of family assets during the 2008 real estate crash. Plunging into Yoga helped her regain her emotional center, cope with her pain and move ahead with her life. That experience inspired Deanna to devote herself to helping others discover the life-changing benefits of Yoga and wellness. She became certified to teach Bikram Yoga, then opened her first Yoga studio, and now operates three thriving studios in Danville, Livermore and San Ramon, with more locations on the way. Deanna has evolved considerably from her Bikram Yoga roots, as her studios now offer a rich variety of heated and non-heated Yoga classes, strength training, cycle, meditation and more. She will lead the “Business of Yoga” segment of the teacher training program.
Deanna has gained extensive knowledge about operating a successful business, and looks forward to sharing her best practices with the teacher training cohort.

Jennifer Keenan

Jennifer  has been an athlete all of her life, she played competitive sports in school and earned her BS in physiology at UC Davis.
Jennifer has taught fitness in the east bay for 22 years and has been teaching yoga since 2009.  Jennifer’s yoga classes are a mix of strength and alignment against a backdrop inspirational yogic theming.
Her goal is to help unveil each students strengths and wants everyone to be aware of all parts of their body, not just the ones we can see.

Lisa Jang

I have been teaching group fitness and yoga since 2001. Fast forward, my journey has evolved to be a continuous inquiry on interoception, anatomy, embryology, movement, fitness and Chinese energy healing.
I co-facilitate the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and lead the Yin Yoga Teacher Training Program at The Yoga Company and Just Breathe Yoga {Rivermark}.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy face-planting in fun arm balances, falling out of tree pose and doing mostly the yin practice.

Alison Cardenas

Alison began her yoga journey in high school but it wasn’t until a grave knee injury many years later that she realized the profound healing and transformative power of yoga.  Through a dedicated yoga practice she found not only a healing that doctors said wasn’t possible without surgery, but realized she was a happier person inside and out.  Since those early years Alison’s yoga journey has continued to blossom as she has shaped and centered her life around yoga and discovered the joy of sharing her love of it with others. Her classes focus on warming up safely, moving with the breath, and going within to reap the benefits and peace that can be found in silence.
Alison received her certification through Blooming Lotus Yoga (Yoga Alliance 200 hr certification) and Anti-Gravity Yoga (aerial yoga certification) and has been teaching restorative, vinyasa, and aerial classes since 2013.
