There are no pre-requisites for the training. The training is designed to teach anyone who has an open mind, a passion for fitness, and a strong desire to make a difference. Of course, those who have a fitness background with experience teaching group classes will have a little head start. Regarding physical ability, we ask that everyone who teaches the class, to be able to complete a full class regularly and to be able to demonstrate proper form and alignment.
Completing the training does not guarantee a teaching position with Joya. However, we will provide mentorship for interested candidates to prepare them to teach for our studios.
More details about the training:
Joya HIIT Pilates is an interval training workout alternating between bursts of high intensity activity with intervals of resistance training. Joya HIIT Pilates provides a whole body workout and is designed to build strength and endurance. Interval training utilizes a variety of equipment such as dumbbells, resistance bands, suspension training, body weight movement, calisthenics, plyometrics and ballistic movements. Joya HIIT Pilates promotes weight loss, an increase in cardiovascular efficiency and increases strength and endurance. This dynamic blend of mindful strength training and high intensity movements will push you outside of your comfort zone and unleash the beast power within.
